How to Navigate the Image Editing Menu
After uploading an image, you'll be able to click the Edit button to open up the Image Editor. Within the Image Editor, you'll find a number of options available.
Across the top of the Editor window, you'll find Undo and Redo arrows as well as Save and Cancel options.
How to Edit Your Images in Bananatag
Occasionally you won't need to include an entire image when placing it in an email, or it won't quite be positioned how you'd like. There are a few choices available when it comes to Cropping Images.
You'll find a number of preset aspect ratios under the Common Crops. Select one of the specific options to automatically adjust the aspect ratio. You can also choose to Lock the Resolution, in situations where you want to maintain the same aspect ratio but crop the image a bit tighter.

Below the image itself, you'll find some more buttons available. Here you can flip the image horizontally, flip the image vertically, spin the image manually by clicking and dragging the 0 to the left or right, or rotate the image 90 degrees to the left or right.
Change the appearance of an image by adjusting its colour; within the Image Editor's Filters.
When you click on Filters, you'll see a number of Themes presented. Under each of these Themes you'll find a selection of options; when you click on one of them, you'll be provided with a slider that you can use to determine the amount of Filter you would like applied.
When inserting an image, you may notice some slight imperfections that you want to try and fix; perhaps the image is too dark, or looking a bit washed out? The great news is that we have tons of choices under Adjust.
You can Adjust the Basic options like brightness and saturation or take it one step further and adjust the Refinements like whites and blacks.
Make a specific portion of an image stand out a bit further. One awesome way to draw attention to a portion of an image would be to adjust the focus around the point of interest.
Within the Focus section of the Image Editor, you'll find some great options for changing up the distortion of the image, most of which can be moved around/resized. All of these options will have a slider presented when you click on them that will let you choose the level of intensity you want the distortion to be at.
Easily add context to an image with the Text tool.
When you click this option from the left-hand pane, you'll immediately see a "New Text" button near the top of the Editor window; click this to create a text box on the image, then double click the box to start adding text.
Once you have some text in place, you can adjust the Font, Size, Alignment, Text Color, and Line Spacing.
If you need to add additional text boxes, you can simply click New Text as many times as you need!
Add a bit more flair by adding Stickers.
Utilize the awesome preset Bananatag Stickers, or use the Upload button to bring your own style or branding to your communications.
When you choose to Upload your own Stickers, you'll get a Custom button added in for quicker navigation through your Stickers and the Bananatag Stickers.
Add some detail, or perhaps draw attention to a specific portion of your images with Brushes! Brushes are a very simple tool, which provides you with a Brush that can be used to manually draw on your images.
With options available to change the Color, Brush Size, and Texture of the brush edge. Should you add to your image with your Brush tool and want to remove this, you'll want to use the Undo button.
Add borders to your images, and increase visual interest. For this, we offer some preset image Frames that can add a bit more style for you.
In the left-hand pane, you'll find the options to replace the Frame and change the Frame Opacity and Width.
Overlays can completely revamp the look of your image in a fun and interesting ways and offer a number of different options for effects.
When you select an Overlay within the left-hand pane, you'll be able to click through some different effects for that Overlay and use the slider to determine the level of effect applied with the Overlay. If you want to remove an Overlay that you've applied, just be sure to scroll to the top of the list of Overlays and select None.
Just below the Edit Button used to open the Image Editor, you'll find a space that you can insert an Image Link. This is as straight-forward as simply pasting your intended destination into this field so that your recipients can click the image and reach the page you're wanting to provide them with.
It's not uncommon that someone viewing your message may have some visual impairment that prevents them from being able to easily determine what the image is.
In instances like this, you can use the Alternative Text field to provide a written description of what is within the image, as this can be provided to website viewers to give them insight into the content of the image itself. This Accessibility Option can be especially helpful when communicating in industries such as Banking, Education, and Government.
