Create customized colors, default fonts, and links that align closely with your organization's branding requirements.

How to Set Branding
You can access the customization page via the "Branding" option in the "Settings" menu. Get thereby:
- Click on your initials icon in the upper-right corner, then clicking on Settings
- Click on the Branding
Note - You must be an Admin or Parent Admin user type to access this page.
You can set custom colors by either changing the existing colors or by adding additional colors in the empty blank spaces provided.
To set a color, follow the steps below:
- Click on the + symbol in the color box
- Select your color or had your HEX / RGB Code
- Name your color
- Click Add
Once you have added your color, the color will automatically be visible in the designer when changing the colors. To view your colors in the designer:
- Open the color selector
- Select your Custom Color

Bananatip:
We recommend that you limit your palette to primary, secondary and text colors (black, grey, white, and links).
Select the desired font in either the Primary Font and Secondary Font sections.
If you do not see your font in the drop-downs, you can request it from the "Send Request" link. Clicking that link will show a pop-up so that you can input the font name you would like to request.
Please note that due to licensing agreements, we may not be able to fulfill all requests. You can learn more about which fonts we support here.
Once you've selected and saved your default fonts, you will see them displayed at the top of the font menu, which you can find in the "Text Settings" panel on the right side of the screen in the designer.
You can set the default color and style by:
- Click the color icon, and select the color of your choice
- Click on the link style set the styling
- View the Preview to see how your link will appear
Once you have chosen your desired Link Color and Style, you will see it previewed below. If you have also selected primary and secondary fonts, they will also be shown in the preview.
You can set your button styling by:
- Select your background-color
- Select your font color
- Select your text style
Advanced settings allow you to adjust:
- Font size
- Padding width
- Padding height
- Corners
Once you have selected your button styling the preview will showcase your design choices.
Set your custom social icons by:
- Click on Search Social Icons
- Click Upload Custom Icon
- Name Your Icon
- Upload Your Icon
- Click Add to Save
Once you have your icon uploaded, you will be able to rearrange the order based on what is important to you.
Bananatip
When uploading custom icons, we recommend using a 28x28 px png with a transparent background.
How to Set Survey Branding
Survey branding puts you in control of the experience employees have when completing surveys, allowing you to replace the default Bananatag logo with your organization's logo and change the messaging if desired.
You can access the survey customization page via the "Branding" option in the "Settings" menu. Get thereby:
- Click on your initials icon in the upper-right corner, then clicking on Settings
- Click on the Branding
- Click on Survey Feedback
Customize your brand logo by following the steps below:
- Click Upload and select your logo
- Select your Logo Orientation
Once you have updated your logo, it will automatically appear on your survey pages.
Bananatip:
Using a logo file that is a .png with a transparent background will produce the best result. A .opng file should be available through a branding and asset guide or directly from your marketing department.
In many cases, your organization's logo can also be easily found with a search engine, and using some advanced search options, we can restrict a search to primarily find .png images with a transparent background.
You can customize both your Feedback Messaging and your Thank You Messaging. Customize your Messaging by following the steps below:
- Click into Feedback Messaging or Thank You Messaging
- Update your messaging
- Click Preview to see your messaging
How to Set Branding Permissions
Branding permissions are only available for our Enterprise Level Plans. If you would like to learn more about this feature please contact your account manager.
As the Parent Admin of your account, you have the ability to restrict your team to only use the branding you set as the Parent Admin, or Admin. By doing so you, your team will only be able to choose between those set defaults.
To restrict on a per user basis please follow these steps:
- Click on your initials in the upper right-hand corner and select Team
- Click on the 3 dot menu to the right of the team members name and select Edit User
- Deselect "Allow this user to have access to styling options beyond default branding"
- Click Save and Update
