Bananatag helps you create beautiful employee emails, distribute them to your own customized employee lists, and measure engagement so you can improve your internal communications strategy and make a measurable impact. 


Get Started with Bananatag

Getting started with Bananatag is as easy as 1-2-3! With these simple steps, you will be able to download Bananatag, send/track emails, and understand the impact of your communications.



Step 1: Install the Bananatag Extension or Add-in

Get started with Bananatag easily by quickly installing the Add-In with these simple steps.

Outlook Classic O365 Gmail Outlook for Mac

The Bananatag add-in for Outlook currently supports Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019 on Windows (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions). If your Office 365 subscription entitles you to a desktop copy of Outlook (PC) that means you are supported as well.

Install the Bananatag Add-In

Install the Bananatag Add-In

  1. Login to your account here
  2. Click the Initials in the upper-right corner, then click Resources
  3. Choose the Outlook Outlook Classic 3.0
  4. Click on the Installer, then complete the installation.

Setup Your Email

  1. Click Open Outlook
  2. Click log in to Bananatag on your Outlook Ribbon

You're ready to go, you can start tracking emails, and creating dynamic drafts through Bananatag. Click on the Bananatag ribbon to get started.

Note: Depending on your version of Windows and Outlook, the installation may require a reboot during the installation. Once your computer has rebooted the installation will continue.



Step 2: Track Your Email
Tracking your emails with Bananatag is easy to do and provides you with the needed data insights to better improve your communications. 


You can get started easily by tracking any email sent from your inbox.

Click the Track Email button to get started! 



Take it one step further and use the Bananatag Email Designer to build dynamic templates.

Insert your templates into your emails and track the clicks and engagement.


Step 3: Read and Interpret Your Results

Understanding your impact is critical to any reporting and/or growth opportunities. With Bananatag you have instant access to real-time data in two ways.

Login to Bananatag to view your Dashboard where you will find real-time data visualizations. Including open rates, click rates, device types, and more.





Pull additional and more specific reports in your Reports Tab of your Bananatag account. Using preset filters or create a custom report in just a few clicks.




Ensure you are getting accurate information by adjusting your settings to clarify your timezone. You can do this in your Bananatag account by clicking your initials in the upper right-hand corner, and then clicking settings.
