How to tell if you are using Version 2.0

There are some key visual differences to make it easy to determine which version of the designer you are using:

The V2 email designer has:

  • A sidebar on the left (1) that contains the drag-and-drop blocks, along with all block settings
  • A fixed font control box at the top (2) and the live email preview underneath (3)

The V3 email designer has:

  • A sidebar on the left containing Block Layouts, Elements and Quick Blocks (1)
  • The live email preview in the centre (2)
  • The settings located on the right sidebar (3).

Why should I upgrade to the latest version?

As part of our effort to constantly improve our product, we recently released an all-new email designer.

Here are some of the things you can expect when you upgrade:

More Flexibility - With customisable blocks, enhanced styling settings and adjustable padding, you have much more control over how your emails look and can create newsletters that would have been impossible in the old designer.

Built in-house, from the ground up - Our new email designer was completely rebuilt from the ground-up, in-house. This means that as any issues arise, we can implement quick fixes rather than waiting for a third party to fix them.

Ongoing support - We are regularly releasing new features, fixes and updates to ensure the email designer is always improving. We will no longer be updating the legacy versions, so it's best to upgrade to take advantage of these new features.
