Using the Image Library

The Image Library allows you to use and reuse images in your emails. It also allows all of your organization's users to access and use your images in their emails.

  4. How to add images directly to your email draft

There are two ways to add images to your emails

  1. Image Library:
    • Images uploaded this way will be available to use again in other emails, and will be available to other users on your Bananatag account.
  2. Upload to my Draft:
    • Images uploaded this way will only be added to the specific email you are creating

Things to note about the Image Library

  • Only Admin and Parent Admin Bananatag users can add, organize, and remove images from the Image Library, but ALL Bananatag users on your account can use Image Library images in their emails.
  • Adding, organizing, and removing images must be done in the Bananatag Web App (not in your Inbox), but the images are available to use in any email builder.
  • There is no limit to the number of images that can be uploaded to the library, as well as no limit to the number of folders that can be added. 

Adding Images to Image Library

Note: This function is only available to Admin and Parent Admin users. Click here to learn how to use images from the Image Library in your emails.
  1. Access the email builder through the Bananatag Web App. Select the Create tab, then click New Email Draft, or select an existing draft.adding-images_1.png

  2. Drag-and-drop a block into the Email Designer, and add an image element.adding-images_2.gif

  3. Select an image element, and click Open Shared Library.

  4. Select the folder you wish to add an image to or create a new folder.

  5. Click Upload to Folder, and select the image.
    Note: You can select multiple images to upload.
      • On Mac: hold down the Command key while selecting.
      • On Windows: hold down the Ctrl key while selecting.

  6. You can edit your images by selecting the image element and clicking Edit.
    Note: All edits made will only be reflected in your current email. Image edits will not be applied to the image in the Image Library.

Using images from the Image Library

  1. Drag-and-drop any block into the Email Designer, then add an image element.
    Note: You can add an image by clicking the + button and selecting Image, or you can drag-and-drop an image element.

  2. Select an image element. Click Open Shared Library.

  3. Choose your image file, then click Select.

  4. You can edit your images by selecting the image element and clicking Edit.

Upload Images to My Draft

If you are uploading an image you will not use in any other emails, and which your coworkers do not need to use, you can upload images to only your draft email.

  1. Drag-and-drop any block into the Email Designer, then add an image element.
    Note: You can add an image by clicking the + button and selecting Image, or you can drag-and-drop an image element.

  2. Select an image element. Click Upload Image/Gif. Then either drag-and-drop an image file into the modal or click Browse for Files.

  3. You can edit your image by selecting the image element and clicking Edit.
